Last day at the Branson Bash

Our last show in Branson was a great send-off for our 8 coaches of friends. Like Nick and myself, I imagine our guests were thinking “How can anything top what we have already seen and experienced?!” BUT…. We were in for another awesome time!

Our black beauty coaches rolled out for the Dick Clark American Bandstand Theater for our final show. As happened at all of our theaters, our Anderson friends were given a hearty welcome on board our coach before disembarking to our assigned seats.

The Dick Clark Theater is host to wonderful memorabilia of musical legends gone by and the Brett Family also had a yummy welcome of  popcorn, soda or water for each of us! Then the production began!

IMG_0918Tom and Andrea Brett and their 2 children Briahna and Brydon, (son Garon we met via webcam) truly put together an amazing show of great musical talent from the oldies to current day with all types of music. As we found with all of our Branson experiences, the entire choreography was wholesome with a reminder to all of us about the value of love of God, family and country in our lives. The patriotism brought tears to our eyes as Andrea recited, I am a Veteran, written by her. IMG_2390

We also were reminded of the amazing feelings that song will stir within us with the Bretts rendition of  Let There Be Peace on Earth.

Intermission found our Anderson Group being honored by the Mayor of Branson! Mayor Best truly made us all feel very special – just as the entire town had rolled out the red-carpet for us!

The Brett Family continued on with great entertainment and when the show ended, we were all personally bid adieu by Tom or Brydon.

Hopefully all of our wonderful travelers plan to  return again to Branson with us! There are so many great shows and entertainers woven into the fabric of this charming all-American hometown.

To all of our friends we sincerely hope that you had a great time. I speak for all The Anderson Family in expressing our thanks for your support. With God’s help, we will be able to continue to show off this beautiful country to our Wonderful guests for another 80 years!

With Appreciation,

Sue
